Meredith Cossitt is a registered Chiropodist (foot specialist), a graduate of the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences. She also has an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo.
Meredith spent several years working as a medical research associate before pursuing a career in Chiropody. Her strong background in science has helped Meredith understand many systemic conditions, such as diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis, and how they can affect the feet.
Meredith is a warm and caring practitioner who specializes in the treatment of heel and arch pain as well as skin and toenail conditions. She works with patients of all ages. She can also fit you for custom-made orthotics.
Meredith has completed ongoing education in Foot Mobilization Techniques, a series of specialized techniques used to identify foot issues and alleviate foot pain. This additional education has improved Meredith’s assessment skills, furthering her ability to diagnose problems and prescribe appropriate treatments, exercises and orthotics.
